D1.1 Codebook Workshop
The 10 hours of instruction provide a "road map" through the Code, emphasizing the ability to locate important paragraphs, charts, and tables quickly, which is crucial to understanding the Code when working under stressful deadlines. In addition to practice questions, a practice exam will be administered, and the instructor will illustrate the use of the Code under time constraints, creating deadline pressure similar to the test environment. The D1.1 Codebook Workshop prepares participants for the Codebook Interpretation section (Part C) of the CWI exam.

Fundamentals of Welding Seminar
20 hours on all facets of welding processes and nondestructive examination. The Fundamentals of Welding Seminar prepares participants for the Fundamentals section (Part A) of the CWI exam.
BY ATTENDING, YOU CAN LEARN:
Visual Inspection Workshop
This workshop provides 10 hours of expert instruction in the use of inspection tools, followed by "hands-on" learning for the balance of the workshop. This training incorporates plastic replicas of welds that mirror the actual plastic specimens that will be used in the exam. Also, hands-on training will incorporate welded metal samples to prepare for real-world inspections. The Visual Inspection workshop prepares participants for the Practical section (Part B) of the CWI exam.
